MiX Telematics, a driver safety, vehicle tracking and fleet management solution provider, has unveiled its MiX Track fleet management solution for the Asian market.
The new system is claimed to be an ideal solution for fleet operators, which will facilitate them with locations of their mobile assets without any complex fleet management system.
MiX Telematics managing director Charles Tasker said, "MiX Track enables local fleet operators to have direct control over their fleet, helping them to improve customer service and reduce costs by knowing with pinpoint accuracy where their drivers and vehicles are."
"As well as tracking their mobile assets, customers are able to access essential vehicle performance information including vehicle speed, harsh braking and harsh acceleration, enabling them to gain full control over the performance of their fleet," Tasker said.
Operating through an onboard computer equipped into each vehicle, MiX Track will continuously transmit positional and other data back to MiX Telematics' secure servers.
The new solution will feature the 'find nearest vehicle' function, real-time tracking and location management, and accessible 24/7 through the MiX Track web interface.
MiX Telematics is also offering the customers to keep tabs on their vehicles when they are out and about via the MiX Track mobile application.
According to the company, the MiX Track will be launched in Asia through the company's Asian channel partners, including LKW in Hong Kong, Syseng in Singapore, DRM in Malaysia and CV Indoparts in Indonesia.
