The aggregate gross profits realized by the Chinese large-and-medium steel enterprise amounted to RMB2.486 billion in the first quarter of this year, in comparison of the overall net loss in the same period of 2012, according to data released by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).
In the given period of time, the sales revenues of those steel enterprises totaled RMB8.7585 trillion, increasing by 0.94% year on year. However, 34.9% of the steel enterprises still posted losses for the first quarter of this year.
